Makaira is located in the beautiful Matei area of Taveuni Island in Fiji. Its elevated location on a superb bluff provides guests awe-inspiring views up and down the coastline beaches and across the Somosomo Strait to the islands of Vanua Levu, Rabi and Kioa. There are just two private cottage rentals and the lovely American owner lives on site to ensure you are well provided for during your stay.
